Painting Maniacs

Jason and I have officially starting to make our home our own. We have become painting maniacs. Okay, we are really only painting two rooms in the house: the great room and the master suite. But, now I understand why a lot of people don't bother painting when the move in. It can be real tedious!

Don't get me wrong. I love to paint and I love to have color on the walls. Jason and I picked out great colors - Autumn Gray for the Great Room (it's a greenish gray color), Fudge Truffle for the Master Bedroom, and some blue color that I can remember the name of for the room that we are going to call the Music Room.

Everything was going fine until Jason got to the bottom of the first paint can. Apparently, he did not stir well enough. All of a sudden our beautiful color had auburn streaks! After several minutes of mixing (I gave up a wooden spoon to get the job done) we finally had the right color. Good thing we were planning on doing two coats anyway!
