Wishlist: New Hero Arts Stamps

I'm super excited about Hero Art's newest release, Stamp Your Story. There are a lot of great stamps in this release, perfect for both cards, scrapbook layouts, and Project Life. Here are a few that have caught my eye.

My Words - I love the font on this. This would be cute for cards, but also perfect for Project Life. I could see myself using these as accents to my journaling.

Journal Letters - This is probably my favorite. I love the look of handwritten letters. This is similar to this one but the letters are uppercase instead.

Travel - I'm obsessed with travel themed stuff, postage stamps, airmail... I especially love how Jennifer McGuire used this stamp on this card. She is so creative!

Love This Arrow - What a perfect name because I do love it! This arrow (and this one) have a matching die. I can't wait to use this on Project Life spreads.

I'm super excited about about the daubers, too. Can't wait to see how others are going to use these. The only problem? Choosing which color. I love them all!

And, speaking of colors...I am in love with the new inks. Mint Julep and Fresh Peach are beautiful colors. I can't wait to get my hands on these and make some cards using both inks.

Christmas Brag Book

As promised, here are the layouts from my Christmas brag book.  Again this book can be yours for only $35. It's just the right size for one picture and some journaling on each page.

Christmas Planner

The Christmas season can get so hectic. There's so much to do, from gifts to baking to decorating...it's easy to get overwhelmed. To help me keep this Christmas season organized I'm making a Christmas planner. The idea came from a class I'm taking through Big Picture Scrapbooking, but I'm tweaking the end result. I ordered a red mini-binder from Simplify 101 and am designing my own pages for the inside. I'm going to organize this planner into eight sections:

• Calendar - Done in a three or four-day layout so I can fit all of my busy activities onto it
• Cards - A place to jot down card ideas, supplies needed to make my own cards, and a section with an address book to keep up with my Christmas mailing list
• Cooking - A holiday menu planner and baking planner
• Decor - A place to jot down ideas for room decorations
• Gifts - The ultimate place to keep everyone's gift lists as well as your own
• Parties - A great section to use when planning parties
• Shopping - Where I will keep my shopping lists
• To-Do - Always a necessity in a planner. I am a queen bee of making lists, so this section will come in handy

EDITED: I woke up early this morning thinking about my planner and realized that I didn't account for all the supplies needed to make it. So if you want a planner, the actual price would be $45. Sorry for the confusion! Sometimes my "brains are out of my head" as one of my kindergarten students told me.

25 Days of Christmas

I'm working on an album 25 Days of Christmas to record Christmas memories from each day of December (inspired by Ali Edwards' album which can be found here). Super excited...bought lots of goodies to make it, including:

I also purchased supplies for our Christmas cards. Love this paper from Making Memories. I'm making a card from my Giving Well (In 2 Hours or Less) class from Big Picture Scrapbooking. I'll post the final layout when I'm finished. The paper goes great with the red envelopes I bought from Paper Source.
