Inspired By: The Paradise

Everyone who knows me personally is well aware of my affinity for period pieces in both film and television. I am a sucker for anything that features a time from the past or future. I love the look of clothes and interiors that are no longer in fashion.

My latest obsession is a new to me show from BBC called The Paradise. It only lasted two seasons, so I've been watching it on Netflix. The show is about a young woman, Denise, who goes to work in the first department store. The set is absolutely gorgeous. I'd love to shop in a store like this one.

And, don't even get me started on the dresses. Such beautiful colors and fabrics.
